I did it and I feel great! I will admit, after my 2nd juice on day one, I thought to myself, “Oh no! What did I get myself into?!”. While my friends and clients were feeling the positive effects as early on as day one, it really took my system to respond at the end of day 3. Overall, it was a positive experience and if your doctor approves, I would give it a go! I might even do a 1 day juice cleanse once a month.
Since this is a purifying “cleanse”, I have to be real and add some TMI comments below. I warned you!
Love it:
I lost 5 pounds!*
Again, no worrying about what to eat for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
So much free time at night because dinner is ready for you.
I feel super hydrated and almost “light”.
I broke my caffeine addiction.
I learned to love green tea which can have so many health benefits.
I experienced this with my friends and clients so that I can relate to how they feel.
Leave it:
I now know why there is a term: “beet red”! Everything I “cleansed” from my system was a very dark red yesterday.
I had to think about what to eat for my meals today.
I had to go grocery shopping.
I was getting sick of not chewing food.
I couldn’t watch the food network or check out pinterest due to food pins.
*Although the scale read 5 pounds less, I think that anyone on a very reduced caloric diet would see a shift in their weight. The Healthy Living Market does not advertise this as a weight loss cleanse. Is it sustainable? Will I keep it off? Do I want to? Those are questions that only you can answer. It may be a good way to jump start yourself into adding more fruits and veggies into your diet that can carry over after your cleanse. But, if you have a pound of bacon for breakfast the next day, you will most likely see those pounds creep back on.
