Since I am posting a day behind, today is day 3 for me. It is the first morning that I didn’t crave coffee or caffeine, so that is a big “win”!
Here are my “love it” or “leave it” lists for day 2 of the juice cleanse. I aim to be brutally honest on my blog, so this might be a little, TMI for some of you. Proceed with caution!
Love It:
I eat breakfast, lunch, dinner at home at least 5 days a week since I work a block from home. I had nothing to prepare, no grocery shopping to do, no cooking, and no clean up! I have been saving tons of money and time!
Juice #5 has carrot, honeydew, and lemon. It is delish!
I am really, really, really hydrated.
I haven’t been hungry except for first thing in the morning. As soon as I had a few sips of green tea, that feeling went away.
I had a little more energy today than yesterday.
I am on my same “regular” potty routine.
No need to take my multi vitamin because according to the nutrition analysis the Healthy Living Market and Cafe provided, I am getting 100% off my nutrients directly from the juices.
Leave it:
Again, my fault for not planning my workout schedule better – I was exhausted after teaching my back-to-back one hour spin classes.
I had a slight stomach cramp when I got home from the studio. Once I drank juice #5, it went away and I felt back to normal.
My pee is orange. Probably due to the beets in some of the juices.
I was chatting with a client who is also participating in the cleanse and we had totally different experiences. Here comes the “TMI” part – I am on my same potty routine, whereas my friend is making more frequent trips. We came to the conclusion that since I eat lots of fiber rich fruits and vegetables in my regular diet and they do not, that might be why. Hey, it is a “cleanse” after all, so it is doing its job!
Stay tuned for the last day of my cleanse review. I will post the last day tomorrow! Happy sipping!
