If you know me at all, you would know that I LOVE football! I am a tie-hard Buffalo Bills fan, but they were out of any chance of seeing a playoff game many, many, many weeks ago, so I am rooting for the Denver Bronco’s, my husband’s team.
Our tradition is to work out in the morning and then stay home for the game. This way, we eat and drink what we want and more importantly, can stay in our fleece pants all day!
Here are some things that I am making:
Cowboy Caviar with tortilla chips (I like the blue kind):
1 can black beans
1 can black eyed peas
2 cups of corn (I thaw out frozen corn)
1/2 chopped bell pepper
1/2 chopped red onion
chopped jalapenos (how much it up to you!)
1 diced tomato (you can also use canned)
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup stevia (or sugar, but that will add calories!)
dash of salt and pepper.
Mix it all up in a bowl and serve!

Hummus and pita chips (and veggies) from a certain restaurant on Lake Avenue “”wink, wink””
Flatbread Margarita Pizza
Top your favorite flatbread with fresh tomato slices, fresh mozzarella cheese and a few basil leaves. Bake until bubbly and hot.
