Had dinner off the a la carte menu on July 11th (Buffet was not available that night). My shrimp were overcooked and tasted fishy, baked potato was so overcooked you couldn't even cut the skin with a knife. Very disappointed with the a la carte items. I have had the buffet several times and that was always great.

Last night my husband and I traveled to Saratoga for the lobster and prime rib buffet. It was excellent. Staff called me back to confirm my reservation, Casey, our waitress, couldn't have been more friendly or accomadating. Since it was my husbands birthday, I asked if they happened to have a birthday candle that I could stick in whatever dessert he chose. Within a couple of minutes she returned to our table with a delicious piece of chocolate cake, plated with whipped cream and strawberry, as well as the words, Happy Birthday, written in chocolate syrup. It was an absolutely perfect evening. Also we did a taste testing of three beers that they brought to our table, samples of a promotion that was going on with Blue Moon. I don't know what the other reviewer on here was talking about, our evening, food, staff and atmosphere were all exceptional.

Food was TERRIBLE. Wait staff and Jan (woman that took bet money) great. We also liked the view. My husband said his steak was "NAUSEATING and LIKE RUBBER". My pennea a la vodka NOT GOOD. Food in addition was not hot. We loved the view as well. If you want good food avoid this place!!!!

Gone a couple of times for dinner and another for Sun Brunch. Such a lovely place. Wonderful food and gracious service. Plus watching the horses race is such a treat. Buffet was well stocked and priced. Will be back!
