North Country Wild Care is a non-profit organization that supports home based licensed wildlife rehabilitators. Working out of their homes within nine local counties, members are volunteers dedicated to rehabilitating and returning wildlife to the wild. In an effort to better respond to calls for wildlife in need, the members developed an Emergency Wildlife Hotline, which is manned 24/7, including holidays. Winter training sessions and educational programs to schools, civic groups and community organizations are also provided at no charge.
