Carousel Opens May 7, 2011

The Congress Park Carousel opens May 7th for the season in Saratoga Springs NY.

SARATOGA SPRINGS NY — Are the kids ready to go for a spin? The Carousel in Congress Park is an historic wooden carousel that has all the charm of yesteryear with all the enjoyment of today. The carousel usually opens for the year in early May for weekends only until the school year ends in mid to late June, then operates Tuesday - Sunday from late morning until dusk.

For just a buck per ride, you can keep the kids entertained and snap some really great photos for your brag book! The Carousel is a favorite among all the cheap things to do in Saratoga. And who could ask for a more beautiful setting than Congress Park?

Carousel operating hours for 2011:

Memorial Day - Labor Day 2011
Friday, Saturday, Sunday
11am - Dusk
Also Open Memorial Day, Monday May 30th

After Labor Day - Halloween, 2011 (weather dependent)
Friday & Saturday 11 am - 8 pm
Sunday 12pm - 6pm

The Carousel is usually open through Halloween. It is also open for many special events in Saratoga Springs, including the Victorian Streetwalk in December and First Night Saratoga on New Years Eve.
