Lindsay Fell’s background and degree are in
design, but along the way she started spending
time in flower markets and found that she really
liked the flower business.
She started freelancing in a few flower shops
to get a feel for various kinds of design and the
particular ins and outs of the flower business.
She’d already had her own interior design business,
addressing the needs of both commercial

To save on overhead costs at the outset, Avenue Flowers and Design has no storefront. Fell will gladly meet with customers at a coffee shop, customer’s office, or other location.
She said she very much looks forward to helping customers with holiday design, whether that takes the form of creating new wreath designs, finding new ways to decorate that banister, or coming up with wonderful floral gifts for family and friends or corporate clients. Fell also enjoys revamping existing decorations with fresh bows, greens or other special touches.
If a customer would like, Fell can also apply her design background to revamping a room, often using items and materials that a customer already has. She has experience, as well, in staging homes prior to sale.
Because Avenue Flowers and Design has no storefront, Fell said customers can be certain that flowers and greens ordered are fresh from wholesalers, with daily deliveries available within 24 hours of order placement. Fell will do weddings, showers and other parties, and corporate events, along with weekly accounts and specialties like daily fresh flowers for restaurant tables.
