The Children's Museum will host a Thanksgiving food drive to help keep the food panty at the Franklin Community Center stocked. Non-perishable food items, especially those used as traditional Thanksgiving side dishes are preferred: pie crusts and filling, stuffing, potatoes, cranberry sauce and vegetables.
The first 50 families to donate will receive a Virgil's 2 for 1 beverage card.

The world ends often. Every moment offers the opportunity of new beginnings, as our past becomes engulfed in the apocalypse of our future. If you survive, the choice becomes yours: wallow in despair or effect change upon circumstance. 28 of us chose creation. This is Intangible. This is Collective. This is the Static After the Storm.
The Intangible Collective will kick off the evening with a full set of spoken word poetry at 9pm. A handful of local Albany Poets will also read. Following the poetry we will shift gears and bring Hip Hop to the stage. Headling the set will be Xkwisit, Killa Kev, Absolute, & DJ SG. Representing the Intangible Hip Hop faction will be Fascious, Bamboo MC, & B.Nice
The Intangible Collective is a group of artists committed to sharing their talents with each other and an audience through live performance, publications, audio recordings, educational workshops and new media. By definition, intangibles are qualities that affect performance, but are not readily definable, making the Intangible Collective inherently expressive of art.
