We're now an official part of the Adirondack Balloon Festival. Downtown Glens Falls is having a huge block party with an array of cool classic cars, live bands including Bobby Dick & The Sundowners, hot air balloon baskets & burners and fireworks. Shops & restaurants will be open to welcome you. Best party in town! NOTE: There will be street closings starting at 2:30pm and during the festival: Glen Street:: from Bay St. to Centennial Circle Lapham Place:: from Glen St. to Ridge St. Ridge Street:: will not be closed to traffic; there will be no parking on both sides of the street from the Red Fox Books to Centennial Circle. Ridge Street parking lot will remain open. At 9pm, Ridge Street, Hudson Ave., and Warren Street will be closed to traffic to set up for the fireworks which are scheduled to go off at 9:30pm. Traffic coming from other areas will be re-routed during this time.
