2022 Saratoga Tree Lighting Ceremony

Kick off the Victorian Streetwalk Weekend in Saratoga Springs with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Thursday, December 1!

Event Schedule:

  • 6:00 PM - Broadway closes from Spring Street to Lake Avenue. Performances start throughout downtown. Open houses start at many businesses.
  • 6:30 PM - The ceremony starts at the Main Stage. Emcee Steve Kuzj welcomes people downtown from Main Stage on the road in front of Putnam Street Market. Hear from Saratoga DBA's Board President Deann Devitt and Saratoga Springs Mayor Ron Kim.
  • 7:00 PM - American Idol's Madison VanDenburg's performance starts. She'll be singing six classic songs including two of her original hits.
  • 7:30 PM - Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at the Cottage to light the tree with the help of Madison and one of his elves. They will start receiving kids in Santa's Cottage shortly after and up until 9:00 PM.
  • 8:00 PM - The Dance Lab in Saratoga takes the main stage to do a Tap Show / Hip Hop routine.
  • 8:30 PM - Saratoga Soundtrack Choir (15-20).
  • 9:00 PM - First night of Victorian Streetwalk Weekend comes to a close.
