Just in time for bikini season, a new fitness studio, Fitness Artist, is coming soon to Saratoga. Fitness Artist will occupy the old Wells Fargo building on Phila and Henry streets with an expected opening May 1st.
Fitness Artist owner Travis Gil is building the Saratoga studio with a spa feel, catering to clients who want to work out in peace and advance at their own pace with a personalized instructor. Clients will have the studio to themselves and will be able to work out without worrying about working out in front of others. Who doesn’t love that idea?!
The 1,800-square-foot studio will have three personal training rooms, and the private trainers will work with clients for 30, 45 or 55-minute sessions about three times a week.
Another workout room will be available for aerobic exercise where clients can train one-on-one or in small groups of two to four using treadmills and elliptical machines. Each private room will have sliding doors of frosted glass so light can still come through. There will also be iPod docks in each room so clients can play the music they prefer.
After signing up at Fitness Artist, clients receive a free one-hour consultation that takes a health history and fitness level assessment of the client as well as setting goals with them. Gil has managed gyms and been a master trainer before, and he has observed how hard it is for self-conscious people to keep coming to a gym. He wants Fitness Artist to be a comfortable place clients can work out without any worrying.
Will you be making any exercise changes as we get closer to the warm weather?
