If you’ve already got a ride penciled in the calendar for the weekend of June 3, make sure you add the details for the 3rd Annual “Sharing the Journey” Motorcycle Run for Gateway House of Peace! The 100+ mile ride will take place on June 3, 2017 (rain date: June 4, 2017) and benefits Gateway House of Peace, a charitable organization providing safe, comfortable, and caring homes for terminally ill patients under hospice care – free of charge.
You can help Gateway House of Peace help those in need in your community by participating in this 100+ mile motorcycle run that will take you on a round trip ride from Ballston Spa, around scenic Saratoga Lake, up into the rolling hills of Stillwater and Saratoga National Historic Battlefield, over the Hudson River, and then back to The Factory in Ballston Spa, NY.
Gateway House of Peace is a donor-driven, community organization that receives no insurance reimbursements or state/federal funding. The home is primarily staffed by volunteers and relies on community support to keep providing its much-needed services. Make your weekend ride count on June 3 by participating in their planned run – it’s only $20!
There will also be an afterparty at The Factory including live music by RiverJack Z and Mikey D, a cash bar, t-shirts, a 50/50 raffle, and pick of the board.
Registration: 9 a.m. at the Factory Eatery & Spirits, 20 Prospect St, Ballston Spa on June 3, 2017
