Chow Bella, an indoor, climate controlled canine social club, has recently opened its doors for business in Saratoga Springs. The dog park is located at 50 West Ave and is a one-stop shop for every dog owners’ needs.
The 7,500 square-foot space consists of a 3,000 square-foot indoor dog park that has tunnels, bridges and toys scattered throughout to entertain pups and owners alike. Should smaller breeds need an area away from the big dogs, a separate section is available so they can play without any reservations.
The front of the store features a 2,200 square-foot retail space that sells premium dog food brands, beds, leashes & collars and even costumes for dogs- just in time for Halloween. The property also features a café-like seating area where owners can unwind and watch their furry friends have fun with other well-behaved dogs.
In addition to the dog park and retail space, Chow Bella features a salon-style grooming space and amenities where two on-staff groomers will pamper pooches, and several self-wash stations for owners looking to freshen up their fur babies.
Chow Bella offers a variety of membership packages including day passes, monthly passes or annual passes for dog owners interested in using the space. As an opening perk, Chow Bella is offering the first 100 annual passes a $100 discount on the yearly rate along with 1 free self-wash bath pass per month – a $180 value.
“Saratoga Springs is a growing community that loves their dogs! As an owner of two dogs, I am often looking for pet stores that sell the premium food brands I love, that also have accessible and clean bathing stations,” says Marijo English, owner and pack leader at Chow Bella. “I found that I wasn’t the only one having these concerns and challenges, so that was when I felt the need to create Chow Bella.”
Every dog that visits Chow Bella will need to be up to date on vaccines and will go through a personality and behavior assessment before joining the dogs at play in the park. Chow Bella has plans to host adoption events, training classes and even birthday parties for dogs.
“The thing that will definitely set us apart is the dog park. An indoor, climate controlled, play space for you to play with your dog!” says English. “The social aspect is what I’m most looking forward to. Like-minded dog people will have a place to come and mingle – a safe place to play with your canine companion, as well as shop, learn and bathe.”
Memberships are being accepted now for good boys and girls interested in becoming members of Chow Bella and gift cards are also being sold. Chow Bella is open from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Mon-Fri., 10 a.m.- 7 p.m. on Saturdays and 12 p.m.- 5 p.m. on Sundays. For more information on Chow Bella, visit their website: www.chowbella.store.
