Apples are a huge industry in New York State - we're actually one of the top producers of the fruit in the country! Take the time this season to visit one of the local Saratoga County apple orchards and see what all the fuss is about.

Many offer u-pick, allowing you to choose your own apples straight from the trees. Apple picking can be a wonderful fall tradition to start with your family. While at the orchard, grab some pies, produce, apple cider, and of course those delectable cider doughnuts.
If you're looking for a particular apple variety, please call ahead to make sure the orchard has that type. Apple crops vary from year to year, and they may not be offering the same varieties as they have in previous years.
