SARATOGA SPRINGS NY – Enjoy spectacular fireworks in the Spa City! This 4th of July, celebrate America’s Independence Day with Saratoga’s All-American Celebration in Congress Park!

Saratoga's 2013 All-American Celebration is titled "Family, Freedom & Founding Fathers."

Watch fireworks with your friends or family in Saratoga Springs on the fourth, instead of traveling to other fireworks shows nearby. And don't forget - this special event weekend is about much more than just fireworks, featuring a parade, BBQ and Dessert Festivals, live music, a car show and more!

Wednesday, July 3rd, 2013: Various locations in Downtown Saratoga

  • 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Saratoga Springs History Museum Racing Exhibit Grand Opening Canfield Casino
  • 7:00pm - 8:00pm  Fireside Chat with 'General Burgoyne' Bookmaker's Patio Fireplace at the Holiday Inn

Thursday, July 4th, 2013: Various locations in Downtown Saratoga

  • 9:00 am - Firecracker4 - Presented by Patio Essentials
  • 11:00 am - All-American Parade (Parade route: Broadway from intersection of VanDam and Broadway to Spring Street), with "Patriotic Pooch" sponsored by Sloppy Kisses. Opening Ceremonies
  • 11:30 am - Photo-Op wtih Patriotic Parade Characters at the Congress Park at the Columbia Spring
  • 11:30 am - 3:30 pm - Family Day in the Park - Sponsored by Saratoge Springs History Museum - Historic Games, Living History, Music, Face Painting, Food, Carousel Rides
  • 11:30 am - 3:00 pm - All-American BBQ Festival & All-American Dessert Festival - Tastings held at different restaurant locations, with more participants on the Visitor's Center Lawn
  • 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Classic Car Show in Congress Park Plaza
  • 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm - Historic Tour: Saratoga 1863: A Celebration of 150 Years of Health & History
  • 4:00 - 7:00 pm - Amateur BBQ Cook-Off Competition: The Saratoga Downtowner Motel Parking Lot
  • 6:30 - 9:30 pm - Party in the Park:  Music, Food, Face painting, Historic Games, Photography & Family Activities in Congress Park.
  • 9:15 pm - Declaration of Independence
  • 9:30 pm - Fireworks at dark

Friday, July 5th, 2013: Various locations in Downtown Saratoga

  • 9:00 am - 10:30 am - Historic City Tour: Saratoga 1863: A Celebration of 150 Years of Health & History at Potato Chip Lane on East Avenue
  • 11:00 am - Closing Ceremony and BBQ & Dessert Fest Winners Awards Presentation at Congress Park

So grab a blanket, a couple of chairs and some glow rings on July 4th  and come celebrate our independence with a night of fun, watching the fireworks in Congress Park.
