Located at 8 Caroline St., The Bourbon Room offers a cozy atmosphere, hundreds of Bourbon whiskeys and scotches and a cocktail menu that brings back oldies but goodies with a twist.

It features Saratoga's first and only wall mounted pour your own draft system, featuring some of the finest draft beers poured by the ounce by the customer!

There is a light fair, southern inspired menu with their signature bourbon sauces, created to complement the signature drinks.

The decor includes a 22-foot handcrafted bar, a 6-foot high Marble fireplace, the original 14-foot high tin ceiling brought back to its original copper color, and original brick wall that has been restored. To add a little flair and additional uniqueness to this cozy but cool space, the entire floor has been made out of pennies.

We've been going to the Bourbon Room since it first opened. Always been a stop whenever we go to Saratoga. When if first opened, it was a great place to go. We've been there twice since it changed hands and it's changed. They no longer have any food (they used to have an agreement with the restaurant next door to have a limited number of items), and the service has gone down hill. They have a very nice selection of spirits, but they were out of the wine my girlfriend ordered. The bartender was more interested in talking to a couple of the people she knew than keeping an eye on the patrons. I hope they get to improve things before the get a poor reputation.

I had the worst experience here last night with 2 girlfriends. They had an advertisement for 2 for 1 drinks for ladies from 11pm-close on Saturday nights and when I tried to get mine I was told that the bar was under new ownership and they were no longer offering that. I told him that it was false advertising and he just said "we haven't gotten around to fixing what rolls on the TV yet". Then, my friend was trying to get the bartender's attention to order a drink and was continuously looked at and ignored. I had to flag the bartender down, and she then under poured my friend's mixed drink out of spite. Then the male bartender was too busy texting to acknowledge my other friend when she tried to order her second drink. This establishment has gone down hill considerably and I was appalled at how unprofessional it has become.

Really enjoyed the Bourbon Room. The staff was very friendly and specialty cocktails were great. My personal favorite was the Caroline Julep. The sophisticated ambiance was refreshing for a bar right in the middle of Caroline Street.
