Boulder Brook Farm in Malta, NY, is Saratoga County's newest Christmas tree farm. Families can visit during the holiday season and choose and cut their own tree, or pick from pre-cut trees.
Visit Boulder Brook Farm This Holiday Season
Set in the rolling woods and fields west of Saratoga Lake, Boulder Brook Farm is just minutes away from Saratoga Springs, Ballston Spa, and Clifton Park. Their goal is to offer families and visitors a traditional and memorable Christmas experience.
The Christmas tree farm opens on the Friday after Thanksgiving. For their 2019 season, they will have many 6-8 foot Fraser Firs and Canaan Firs ready to be cut, as well as a variety of fresh, pre-cut trees.
The Holiday Shop in the Christmas Barn will offer local honey, maple syrup, fresh wreaths, greens, and hand-crafted gifts, including free hot cider.
Plan Your Trip to the Farm
Grand Opening Weekend at Boulder Brook will be Friday, November 29, Saturday, November 30, and Sunday, December 1, 9:00am - 4:00pm. During the Grand Opening Weekend, you can see a rescued hawk and/or owl up-close (with a DEC wildlife rehabilitator on hand to answer questions) and listen to the festive sounds of live hammer dulcimer music.
After this weekend, they will be open every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas, 9:00am-4:00pm. The farm is located 1/2 mile off of Northway exit 13 south on Rt 9 to Malta Avenue Ext. - one mile east to Nelson Avenue Ext. in Malta Ridge.
