Horrible, unhinged, “intimidating” staff. Last night we were charged a cover charge of 10$ a person to get in. Understandable as it was Travers day- no issue there. About 20 minutes later, a group of our friends who were meeting us tried entering and were asked a fee of 20$ a person. Confused they stepped out of line and texted us to see what ours was. We went to meet them towards the front to which the bouncer told us angrily to “step back,” and then we asked, “hey wondering what the cover is, we had friends who were charged 20$,” basically we wanted to know what had changed so we could cover the extra if we had to. The bouncers response to this was to get in our faces, nose to nose, screaming at us for accusing him of “screwing” or “f-ing” people which was never even assumed. Sometimes cover charges change based on occupancy so it was never asserted he was trying to “f” anyone like he said. I put my arm in between him and us because he was getting very close and was totally going off the deep end for no reason. He then proceeded to grab me by my shoulder, push me back, and kick one of us out. When the manager on staff saw what was going on, the bouncer told him I tried to assault him which is absolutely incredible. I’m barely 5’ tall maybe 110 lbs soaking wet. I am totally baffled, confused, and disappointed how this “bouncer” had the nerve to put his hands on me for one, react the way he did when a simple question was asked, and tell the manager I basically tried to attack him. Why so defensive? This place needs to re-evaluate their hiring standards and stick up for their customers when it’s warranted. We will absolutely never be coming here again.
