Based out of Saratoga Springs, NY, The Wesley Community is a mission-guided, non-profit organization that offers a unique balance of community living and caregiving that ensures a high-quality of life. Sponsored by the United Methodist of Health and Housing, The Wesley Community has serviced the local region for over 35 years and is renowned for their compassion and excellence.
Their list of programs and services include senior housing, an Assisted Living program at the Woodlawn Commons, and both short-term in-patient rehabilitation and long-term care at the Wesley Health Center. For seniors who would like to receive expert care within the comforts of their home, Wesley Senior Solutions is the answer.
In-Home Senior Care Services
Wesley Senior Solutions has been designed to give seniors compassionate care right at home where they'll feel safe and secure. Each caregiver is carefully selected, thoroughly screened, bonded, and insured for your protection. They are also chosen for their dependability, friendliness, and strong sense of caring.
Based on your situation, their caregivers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will receive a customized care plan after the initial in-home nursing assessment. Caregivers and services include:
Certified Home Health Aids (HHAs) and Personal Care Aids (PCAs) Services:
- Personal hygiene, bathing, hair and skin care, dressing
- Getting out of bed, walking, and using a walker or wheelchair
- Performing simple urine tests, measuring/recording fluid intake/output
- Medication reminders, prescribed exercises, assist with oxygen
Note: A Registered Nurse oversees all services and performs any medication pours.
Senior Solutions Companion Care (Non-Medical Services):
- Sensitive companionship
- Transportation and an escort for shopping, appointments, and recreational activities
- Assistance, safety, and maintaining a daily routine
- Light housekeeping, linen changes and laundry, meal preparation
- Medication reminders
