Home Made Theater (HMT) is a non-for-profit theater company located right in Saratoga Springs, NY.

HMT is committed to enhancing the cultural life of the Saratoga region.  Their mission is to offer high quality theater productions at affordable prices of outstanding plays, produced by a dedicated group of professionally minded artists. The theater offers dinner packages with area restaurants for the three "main-stage" productions.  Each December they offer a "Theater for Families" production.   

Take a Class

HMT also offers acting classes for children, teens, and adults.

Their youth program features a variety of acting classes, from summer classes on improvisation, musicals, and Shakespeare to their Youth Musical Theater Conservatory. The Youth Consevatorty is outstanding production is held each spring, featuring local young talent in musicals such as The Lion King, Jr., Legally Blonde, Jr, and more! Embrace the History

HMT is nestled cozily within Saratoga Spa State Park at the Spa Little Theater. First introduced in 1985 at a 55-seat theater at Caffe Lena, HMT has since moved to the Spa Little Theater to a size of 496 seats. Each year, HMT produces four major productions that never cease to awe and amaze.
