41st Annual Saratoga Antique Bottle Show & Sale
The Bottle Show is the Museums chief annual fundraiser. It features all types of antique bottles and related items including early New England glass, Flasks, Bitters, all types of medicinal bottles, canning jars, milk bottles, and stoneware. Also to be found are bottles made to hold the mineral waters of Saratoga and the surrounding springs. The show is an opportunity to promote the fun and interesting hobby of bottle collecting. To add to the excitement of looking at all the old bottles, there will be live flameworking demonstrations by Glint Glassworks. Food and refreshments will be available on site from the Brickyard Tavern.
The Bottle Museum will be open for those wishing to learn a little more about the history of bottles and the glassblowing industry or just to enjoy the glass. The JRM artists space on the second floor will also be open with a showing of "The Art Of The Bottle IV" With all art having a bottle thyme. The National Bottle Museum is a not for profit 501 (c)(3) educational institution chartered by the NYS Education Department dedicated to the preservation and history of bottles and the glassblowing industry.
Covid 19 Guidelines will be adheard to, including all vendors and customers must wear a face covering, vendor tables separated and 6' social distancing in the sales area and snack bar enforced. Pedestrian traffic will move one way down isles and sanitation stations available.
