42nd Annual Saratoga Antique Bottle Show & Sale
The Bottle Show is the Museums chief annual fundraiser and features all types of antique bottles and related items including early New England glass, flasks, bitters, medicinal bottles, canning jars, milk bottles, ephemera and stoneware. Also to be found are bottles made to hold the mineral waters of Saratoga and the surrounding springs. Educational displays will be available and attendees are encouraged to bring in their empty old bottles for identification. The show gives the Museum an opportunity to promote the fun and interesting hobby of bottle collecting, and people can learn from other collectors how and where to locate old bottles on their property that may have been a part of their families history.
The Bottle Museum will be open for those wishing to learn a little more about the history of bottles and the glassblowing industry, or just to enjoy the glass. The JRM artists space on the second floor will also be open with a showing of "The Art Of The Bottle V", with all art having a bottle thyme. Food and refreshments will be available on site provided by the Brickyard Tavern and Grill. Parking is free. The National Bottle Museum is a not for profit 501 (c) (3) educational institution chartered by the NYS Education Department dedicated to the preservation and history of bottles and the glassblowing industry. If necessary the Bottle Museum Will adhere to any Covid safety protocols that may be in effect at the time.
