Spend your Memorial Day Weekend at the GottaGetGon Folk Music festival, a public function of the Pickin' & Singin' Gatherin' (PSG), held over Memorial Day Weekend, since 1970.
This family-friendly music festival centers around folk music with the mission to pass on the love of traditional music and dance to younger generations. It's a time to lean back, sit around, and enjoy yourself with friends and family, play some music, sing some songs, attend some workshops and listen to some of the best music around, day and night. Enjoy the Saturday night Barn Dance, Sunday morning gospel sing, Sunday afternoon Open Mic, workshops and concerts Saturday and Sunday, and make your own music with friends new and old all weekend long.
Featured performers this year: folk quartet Rani Arbo and daisy mayhem; singers of old songs, cultivators of local music, and chronic multi-instrumentalists the Vox Hunters; Crys Matthews, already hailed as “the next Woody Guthrie,”; the Faux Paws a singularly unique outfit in the acoustic music community.
Camping included in the all-weekend ticket price. Electric hook-ups available.
Kids 18 and under free when accompanied by an adult.
