Kids entering grades 4-8, join us to learn some basic embroidery techniques and make an embroidered mountain scene. Learn the back stitch, satin stitch, and running stitch. Please register online.

What to Expect

  • Kids will sit at tables and embroider.
  • A pattern will be provided, but kids can choose their own colors.
  • A librarian will give hands-on instruction.
  • If kids do not finish in the 90 minutes allotted, then can take supplies home with them.
  • Kids can keep their embroidery hoop to use as a frame, or use for future projects.
