Day 1: Color Theory & Watercolor Resist

Projects: Painting “Magic Message” art using white crayons and liquid watercolors and creating a 12-hue color wheel clock.

Skill Focus: Understanding primary/secondary colors, wax resistance, and pigment blending.

Day 2: Monochrome Canvas Nightscapes

Projects: Choosing a single “favorite” color and painting a landscape using only tints, tones, and shades of that color.

Skill Focus: Value scales (adding white for tints and black for shades) and monochromatic harmony.

Projects: Layering vibrant, custom-colored sand into glass jars or geometric “sand paintings.”
