About this event

Step into an elegant summer evening of music and celebration at The Sembrich, where the lakeside studio and its historic 1905 Steinway set the stage for a festive gala concert of piano four-hands. Adorned for the occasion, The Sembrich offers an intimate and refined setting for an evening of virtuosic music-making and shared artistry.

Acclaimed Duo Amadeae brings the rare brilliance of piano four-hands performance to life in an all-American program featuring works by Judith Lang Zaimont, Amy Beach, Samuel Barber, and George Gershwin. Performed with energy, elegance, and flair, the music showcases the extraordinary range and color possible when two pianists share a single keyboard.

Following the performance, guests are invited to a lakeside ebony-and-ivory-inspired reception. Festive black-and-white attire is encouraged as you enjoy, connect, and savor a stylish evening celebrating music, summer, and the enduring magic of The Sembrich.

About the Sembrich Summer Festival

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake George, Brava! pays tribute not only to great female performers, but also to women composers, patrons, educators, and cultural leaders whose contributions have often been overlooked.

Through a thoughtfully curated series of concerts, lectures, and exhibitions, the 2026 Festival explores themes of artistic empowerment, mentorship, and creative legacy, from the Gilded Age to today's international stage.
