When planning for summer fun in 2026, be sure to save the dates of Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12. The Washington County 250th Commemoration Committee invites residents and visitors to attend and/or participate in the History Festival they are organizing in celebration of the nation’s 250th commencement. The event is free and will be held at the Washington County Fairgrounds, 392 Old Schuylerville Road, Greenwich, NY.
This immersive and interactive festival will be educational, and entertaining for all ages and interests; offering opportunities to learn about local and national history while enjoying hands-on experiences including living history demonstrations, displays, family activities, live music, wagon rides, food vendors, and more.
