This past weekend I went to the Saratoga Jazz Festival at SPAC. It was my first time attending this event and I’m so happy I went! Being a lover of music, art and food, this festival was right up my alley. With the smells of cajun food and sounds of saxophones playing, I truly thought I was back in New Orleans for the day!
What made this festival so great? First off, the music was incredible. There’s just something about jazz that puts you in that “feel-good-kinda-mood.” My favorite band that played was the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. They really blew me away with their energy and their ability to get everyone on their feet dancing! Here is a snapshot of them: (Check out that tuba!)
Having a good time on the “150 Years of Saratoga” truck!
And of course, what’s a festival without delicious food?
All in all, it was a great day. There’s nothing like the combination of great food, good music, sunshine and friends! I look forward to going back again next year! Will you be attending?
