Get Ready – Summer Events Are Starting Early
Enjoy a One-Day Fun Day at the Beekman Street Art Fair
Plan a trip to the Beekman Street Arts District in downtown Saratoga this Sunday, June 13, and check out the annual Beekman Street Art Fair. As always, admission is free, and this year’s event will feature a juried fine art and craft show and food trucks. Find unique artworks available for purchase and enjoy your time in the Spa City. The Beekman Street Art Fair will run from 10:00am-5:00pm.
Summer Strolls Event Series Highlights Local History
Join the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation as they kick off their summer of historic walking tours on June 13. These fun and educational events showcase the Saratoga community’s history and architecture, and last year each tour sold out. For 2021, the Foundation will host 13 exciting walking tours on Sundays at 10:30am from June 13 – September 5.
Tickets must be purchased in advance, and space is limited. The first tour of the season is titled “Wealth & Wellness: Franklin Square,” and it will bring participants through the architecturally rich historic Franklin Square area.

A Restaurant Reopens, Sports Camps & More Newsy Updates
Try the New Dinner Menu at Dunning Street Station
After temporarily closing, Dunning Street Station in Malta has finally reopened as of Wednesday, June 9. They are currently open for dinner (indoor dining and takeout) only on Wednesday – Saturday from 3:00pm-9:00pm. In addition to a new look, they also have a new dinner menu with delicious dishes like white seafood lasagna and roasted salmon and artichokes.
Sign Your Child Up for Summer Sports Camps in Saratoga
The Saratoga Springs Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting a variety of sports camps for kids this summer, and there are still spots open for many of them. If your child is interested in basketball, ice skating, running, soccer, softball, or even volleyball, then be sure to register online soon.
Saratoga County Museum Prepares to Reopen

The Brookside Museum in Ballston Spa is looking forward to reopening its doors to the public on June 26 after transitioning to online programming due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This local museum focuses on preserving and sharing the history of Saratoga County through exhibits and educational programs. According to The Saratogian, the museum’s seasonal hours will be 1:00pm-6:00pm on Thursday and 1:00pm-5:00pm on Friday – Sunday.
Shop at the Ballston Spa Farmers Market
We have another awesome piece of Ballston Spa news that you should know about. On Saturday, June 12, the Ballston Spa Farmers Market will begin its 2021 summer season. The market will be located outside the Brookside Museum on Thursdays from 3:00pm-6:00pm and on Saturdays from 9:00am-1:00pm. Stop by and browse all of this year’s market vendors.
