Brown's Beach is one of the only public swimming spots on Saratoga Lake. The beach features a shallow launch area for non-motorized boats, plus a designated swimming area and lots of sand to stretch out on.
2026 Hours & Other Information
The 2026 opening day at Brown's Beach is scheduled for May 30, 2026. The beach typically remains open through Labor Day Weekend, with daily hours from 10 AM-7 PM. On questionable weather days, please call 518-209-1153 (the Beach's dedicated line for daily information).

- Beach Pass: Ages 5-11: 10 visits for $20 ($10 savings); Ages 12+ (adult): 10 visits for $40 ($10 savings)
Activities at Brown's Beach:
Brown's Beach features a sandy shoreline, a swimming area, and a shallow launch area. A large tent pavilion can be reserved at 518-306-4987. The following activities are allowed:

- Paddle Boarding
- Kayaking
- Canoeing
The on-site Brown's Beach Marina is a private marina, and there is no public launching or docking of vessels.

Directions:
I-87 to Saratoga Lake exit 12. Right at end of ramp, straight across Rte. 9, follow to end at Rte. 9P at lake shore. Turn right and launch is only about a mile along Rte. 9P.
