A Milestone Community Celebration
Join Saratoga 250 for a historic community gathering that honors our nation’s founding and the region’s pivotal role in American history. Held at one of Saratoga’s most iconic landmarks, this festive celebration blends racing tradition with patriotic pride to mark this once-in-a-lifetime milestone anniversary.
Event Highlights

Free Giveaway: A Saratoga 250 & Saratoga Race Course branded thermal cup with a lid will be available on a first-come, first-served basis with paid admission.

Living History Processional: 2nd MA Regiment Historians in authentic Revolutionary era kit will lead a processional in front of the grandstand before the 4th race to recite part of the Declaration of Independence. They will also be available for discussion and photos throughout the grounds.

Victory Cannon Display: A replica 1777 era artillery piece perfect for photo opportunities will be located in the backyard between the clubhouse entry and the paddock.

Fife & Drum Music: Historic musical accompaniment for the procession and performances throughout the afternoon by Musicians of Ma’alwyck performers.

Saratoga 250 Race: A featured thoroughbred race of the traditional July 4th Racing Festival will be dedicated to Saratoga 250 and the upcoming 2027 anniversary of the American Victory at Saratoga.

Featured Spirits: Premium NYS certified distilled "Freeman’s Farm at Saratoga" bourbon by War Cannon Spirits will be available at premium on-grounds bars and restaurants. Guests 21 and older can try the official 2026 Saratoga Race Course Saratoga 250 cocktail, the “Victory at Saratoga,” where available.
