A new tasty destination is coming to Saratoga to join the DZ Restaurant family. Prepare your palate for the zest of the Mediterranean, combined with the assortment of Spanish tapas at Boca Bistro!
David Zecchini says the idea for Boca Bistro had been sitting in the back of his mind for a long, long time.
When the idea came close to realization, he took a trip to the place where the Spanish and the Mediterranean meet – paraíso Barcelona!
Zecchini paid attention to the culture and the architecture of the city, to give his own restaurant the most authentic feel here in Saratoga.
This little piece of city-by-the-sea will take residence at 384 Broadway, taking up the space left by Raina’s Boutique and Broadway Pizza.
The renovations prior to move-in will include improvements to the apartments above the restaurant area, priming a few to become the new DZ Headquarters.
The changes also include a restoration of the building’s original charming red brick facade.
Boca (for those who forgot their high school Spanish, that’s the word for “mouth”) Bistro is hoping to open in early May. We’re hoping too.
Have you had tapas before? What are you hoping is on this Mediterranean menu? Speak up and tell us!
