It seems like just yesterday that The Merry Monk in Albany opened; now Saratoga has a Merry Monk of its own!
The Merry Monk is popular for its wide selection of fine Belgian beers and delicious menu items that range from mussels (or moules), to wild boar ribs, burgers, sandwiches, frites and more. The Saratoga location opened last weekend on Henry Street, just in time for the Saratoga Beer Week crowd.
Similar to The Merry Monk in Albany, the new Merry Monk Saratoga offers over 15 beers on tap as well as many of the same Belgian fare menu items… and the locally famous gnomes, too! This new pub prides itself on offering friendly service and a great blend of Belgian and American favorites.
The Merry Monk Saratoga is located at 84 Henry Street, the site of the former Tiznow restaurant, which closed last summer after over 8 years in business.
