In 1949, Jim Thomas began his career in pest management operating Mid-Hudson Pest Control located in Poughkeepsie, NY. Jim's son Craig began working in the pest management industry in high school and college. Craig went on to earn a degree in Natural Resources and Conservation. With his degree he worked for the New York State Department of Conservation enforcing Federal and State laws on the sale and misuse of pesticides.

In 1996, Craig formed Craig Thomas Pest Control in the Hudson Valley Region. Craig is past president of New York State Pest Management Association and on the Board of Directors for the National Pest Management Association. Craig Thomas Pest Control is proud to be a third generation pest mangement company, with Craig's daughter, Sarah. Sarah is an active member of the company and pest mangement industry. Sarah was the 2009 receipant of the Professional Women in Pest Mangement Award.

In 2010, Craig purchased Hometown Pest Control in Hudson Falls, NY and formed Thomas Pest Services. Thomas Pest Services represents three generations of family in the pest mangement industry. Craig's daughter, Sarah and her fiance Bill, oversee this operation. Sarah and Bill are proud to offer this area, bed bug scent detection services with their canine Promise, a lovable Fox Red Retriever.
