There's nothing like a craft cocktail to quench your thirst on a hot summer day. Whether you're a gin, bourbon, or vodka drinker, there are sure to be oodles of options waiting for you throughout the Saratoga area. While you are here, stop by these bars and eateries to try out some of the region's signature drinks.

Morrissey's Lounge & Bistro

Morrissey's Bistro is situated within the historic Adelphi Hotel right where all of the action is on Broadway. The bistro features one of the largest drink selections in the area, making your decision of what to order a tough one. A classic concoction of theirs is a drink called "Sting Like a Bee." The beverage includes some orange and honey flavors that blend in with the bourbon. It's sure to make you float like a butterfly!

For a vibrant atmosphere, you have to go to Cantina. This Broadway restaurant serves delectable Mexican cuisine along with a huge list of original Cantina drinks. You can order most of their drinks by the glass or get a pitcher for the whole table to enjoy. While dining at a Mexican eatery, you can't go wrong with a margarita. Specifically, their "Midnight Margarita" which blends their frozen margarita mix with their flavorsome Red Sangria.

The Brook Tavern

Located on Union Avenue across from Saratoga Race Course, The Brook Tavern is a great restaurant to visit after a day at the track. The menu boasts a wide variety of American cuisine, ranging from Beer Battered Fish and Chips to a Grilled Fillet Mignon. One of their signature drinks has a local namesake attached to it—Yaddo. Yaddo is the name of the estate and gardens founded by the Trask family, it's just down the road from The Brook Tavern. The drink itself features an apple and lemon blend which is surely refreshing on a mild day.

The Wishing Well

The Wishing Well, located just a few miles north of Downtown Saratoga, offers some of the finest dining in the area. Exquisite entrees can and should be served with a drink off of the cocktail menu. While feasting at such a fine establishment, refresh with a beverage such as a "Wishing Well Negroni." This gin-made drink is sure to pair well with any meal of your choosing.

Boca Bistro

Boca Bistro offers unique fare and drinks on the east side of Broadway. Their brick interior provides a rustic yet trendy vibe for a date night or a GNO. Enjoy a meal or traditional tapas that will satisfy all taste buds. Hopefully the only "Bee Sting" you get this summer is one from Boca Bistro, a signature cocktail with tequila and a spicy kick to it.

Bailey's Cafe

On the corner of Phila Street and Putnam Street is Bailey's Cafe. Their casual outdoor dining space features a slew of firepits that are perfect for nighttime outings at the restaurant. Whether you are watching the Olympics or horse racing on one of their many televisions, you can enjoy a frozen signature cocktail such as their Peanut Butter Mudslide. It will make you think you are sipping on a peanut butter milkshake.

Brentwood Hotel

Grab a drink at the lovely Brentwood Hotel just steps away from Saratoga Race Course. Some of their rooms offer a prime view of the historic track, and during racing season, there's a good chance you'll see the horses walk by. While taking in the views, you may wish to appreciate a "Lucky Coin," a fruity fusion including pomegranate, lime, pineapple, and orange.

Hamlet & Ghost
