Dogs must be leashed, but they'll enjoy sniffing their way through this beautifully landscaped gem.

Lunchtime calls for a visit to Cantina, a lively downtown eatery offering vibrant Mexican fare and a dog-friendly patio. It’s a popular stop for locals and visitors alike, and staff are typically happy to bring out a bowl of water for your pup.

Once you've had your fill, swing by Ben & Jerry’s on Broadway for a scoop of their famous ice cream - and don’t forget to ask for a dog-friendly treat for your canine companion. Many locations offer pup cups made just for dogs.

Before you head out, here are a few quick reminders to keep your dog-friendly adventure stress-free:

  • Leash laws are enforced in public areas - keep your furry friend leashed unless you’re in a designated off-leash zone like the dog park.
  • Always bring waste bags and clean up after your pet.
  • Not all businesses that are dog-friendly have water bowls or treats on hand, so pack your own supplies just in case.
