Its tranquil setting in a 2,400-acre park preserve surrounded by hiking trails, geysers, and natural mineral springs draws vacation crowds and arts connoisseurs each year for immersive experiences of performances by resident companies New York City Ballet, The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Saratoga Jazz Festival, and concerts by Live Nation.

Their venues include the main ampitheater, which has a capacity of 5,200 sheltered seats and a sloping lawn for an additional 20,000 people, the Spa Little Theater, the Charles R. Wood "Discovery" Stage, the Hall of Springs and the Jazz Bar, and the Julie Bonacio Family Pavilion and The Pines, which features the Nancy DiCresce Room and The Pines Terrace.
Not only that, but SPAC’s education programs inspire more than 50,000 students every year to appreciate, create, and celebrate the performing arts. The SPAC School of the Arts (SOTA) is a multidisciplinary arts school that was founded in 2021 to further SPAC’s longstanding mission to ensure that students of all ages have the opportunity to experience the transformative power of the arts. SOTA operates out of the Lewis A. Swyer Studios – a state-of-the-art facility located behind the National Museum of Dance in Saratoga Springs, NY.
