Each May we celebrate Caffe Lena's anniversary with a big, special concert. Oftentimes we feature someone who outgrew our tiny room decades ago. But we don't want you to get the idea that our legacy is a closed book--it's an unfolding story. As we count down the days until the rebirth of our historic home with a major renovation, we celebrate the vibrant Caffe Lena of today with four of our current brightest shining stars. We bring you Michigan's Motown-bluegrass outfit Lindsay Lou & The Flatbellys (NPR Top 12 of 2015); Troy singer-songwriter Sean Rowe with his band ("you can safely add Sean Rowe to the top tier of performing solo singer-songwriters that includes Shawn Colvin, Vance Gilbert, Greg Brown, and Richard Thompson." Seth Rogovoy); traditional southern mountain balladeers Anna & Elizabeth (featured in 2015 on Huffington Post, No Depression, and NPR Musics Tiny Desk Concert series); and we reprise last year's anniversary concert one-man-band sensation The Suitcase Junket (NPR's Favorite Sessions of 2015).
This year's Anniversary Concert is generously supported by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Fingerpaint Marketing and Glens Falls Toyota & Scion.
